OnFoods brings together universities, research centres and companies, coordinating the work of 26 public and private organisations active in scientific research and sustainable innovation in food systems.

OnFoods is an Extended Partnership funded under the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), within the EU NextGenerationEU framework, and was selected as one of the 14 Extended Partnerships under Mission 4 – Education and Research in the thematic area “Models for Sustainable Nutrition”.

Open science in action

More than 300 open-access publications share data, analytical tools and scientific evidence on food, health and sustainability.

Through articles, working papers and policy briefs, OnFoods promotes open science practices and transparent knowledge dissemination. The research addresses topics such as nutritional health, food system resilience and the right to food, contributing to informed dialogue between science, policy and society.
